After living here two years, all of those pesky weeds that lived in our backyard have now been evicted! And it was NOT easy! Sylvester did the brunt of the work, but I was there too. Two weekends ago we put in the sprinklers, I say "we" because I helped dig trenches! Then last weekend we got a huge, HUGE pile of topsoil (I wish I'd taken a picture when it was first delivered; this picture is after we'd hauled two-thirds of it to the backyard). Sunday Sylvester spread grass seed. So we should be seeing little sprouts of grass soon! We are so excited!
