Breakfast with the Birds

A few weekends ago, Grandma treated us to a wonderful morning at the Tracy Aviary. We had a tasty breakfast and were able to enjoy the cool, and somewhat rainy weather as we wandered the park feeding ducks and geese, and seeing many different species of birds.

Ty was lucky enough to enter the cages of the Sun Conures (an endangered species which is related to the parrot) and hand feed them! As the Sun Conures landed and perched on his hands, Ty carried on a dialogue with each bird, asking, "How you doin' today bird?"
