The other day, I borrowed my mother-in-law's carpet steam-cleaner, and my mom's spot cleaner. I cleaned everything! All of our carpets, closets, couches, chairs, rugs, you name it - I cleaned it! It feels so nice to know that everything is clean... well, cleaner than it was. (Especially considering Mya will be crawling around on the floor before we know it.)
It's been hard getting used to the no shoe rule, but it's a good rule, I think.
Rule #2: Ty's toys stay in his room.
Not all of his toys, but his bigger ones, like his train tracks and marble mazes are now to stay in his room. It's a relief not to have to be stepping over his tracks all the time. F.Y.I. This rule was instituted by Dad, not me.
